Who this is for:
People who want the good things that come to those who show up for their own creative process;
People who are willing to face the difficulties that are inherent in any growth process, called by their need to be more of who they actually are.
What this is:
A growing body of work that supports people from all walks of life in creating their own relationship with the creativity that inspires and creates their way of being who and what they are.
Through all the means I have available to me, which includes songs and online courses, healing modalities, meditative practices and creative community space, I aim to cultivate a field of resources that centers this creativity.
Where I’m coming from/what I believe:
To me, creativity is a process of becoming more of who and what we are. I see it not only as something we can experience directly though what we commonly call creative process, as it relates to music and art forms and crafts and such, but it can also be what we go through as we encounter things that we don’t want to go through, but find ways of being with that help us to grow into more of who we are here to be. In a very real sense, I feel that there is no line between what we are creating and what is creating us.
My perspective also draws from the religious traditions that say that God is a Creator and that we were created in God’s image. Having said this, I am not a practicing member of any religious tradition; it’s been my way to steer clear of following others, as well as asking others to follow what I say.
Instead, I aim instead to cultivate a direct connection with that which creates me, and to work in a way that hopefully inspires others to do the same, making it a point to nurture that connection as we would do with any other relationship that matters to us, where we wouldn’t want another person to be a go-between for us.
All’s Well: the deeper meaning
Here’s a silly question, and you probably know what I think is the right answer:
Would you rather draw sparkling living water from a sacred well, or purchase bottled water from a convenience store?
You might say, a sacred well sounds nice, but I would probably have to dust off my passport and hop on a plane to find one. There’s a convenience store just down the way. Water is water, and it sustains life either way.
Of course we can always go to the convenience store and purchase the water; there’s nothing wrong with that. But, what if the aquifer has always quietly been there, deep within the earth beneath our feet, available to anyone who is willing to tap in to it?
Oh, of course. . . . it takes work to make a channel to the aquifer, and time. It’s hard to justify; feels frivolous, extravagant. Sometimes it feels like we have to go through bedrock to get there.
But here’s what I have come to believe from my own experience, and from witnessing others.
When we commit to our creativity and start showing up to the process, when we do the work to create and maintain that connection, the work itself is part of the beauty unfolding.
Sure, it takes time and patience and dedication to develop skill in any particular creative medium, but the joy that comes from creating is almost always a whole lot closer to the surface than we might expect. And we can live the truth that it’s the process, not the product, that has always been what’s important.
And when we go there, it means that we can draw from a deeper place than we typically walk around experiencing day to day. Living with our creativity even a little bit activated feels magically alive, and it nourishes our souls and it gives us something we can share with others. And oh, the timing for that is now!!
I feel that we need all the people who can to go there, to connect with their own deep well of life giving water that can help us all to face our current collective challenges, while planting the seeds that could make the next round of living on planet earth so much more abundant and generous than it will be if we just passively sit by and let the machines do our creating for us.
And that is why I do what I do.
About me

I’m Trina Brunk-Howard.
I wear a lot of hats — life coach, singer/songwriter, wife and mom, writer, visual artist, currently living in Northfield, Minnesota.
I had the privilege of growing up rurally in a creative, musical family, where we were expected to create our own entertainment, where a song could break out at any moment.
Music
Growing up this way, I noticed how music could connect us with each other, bring a sense of oneness; and I noticed that it could make hard work more fun, and lift our spirits through difficult times. I also noticed how the music I heard on the radio could take me places . . . but not always where I wanted to go. So eventually, I decided to write and record songs that took me where I wanted to go, and that felt awesome.
Transformation
My experiences with shifting consciousness through music gave me an appetite for finding other ways to make that transformative shift in my mindset, to go from stuck and miserable, to openhearted and interested, focused and moving in the direction of living more the way I wanted to. So the most natural and obvious thing was to become a life coach who combines my passion for helping people transform their consciousness, with my love for making and sharing transformative music.
Professional Training
I am Certified as a Core Transformation Coach and Clinical Hypnotherapist, with additional training and skills in the Wholeness Work by Connirae Andreas (Level IV), the Self Concept model by Steve Andreas, the Rewind Technique for Panic Attacks & Phobias, Reiki I, II & III, Applied Kinesiology, Flower Essence Energy Sessions, and EFT.
All of the above trainings represent important and even pivotal passages in my life, but not more important than the every-present inner and outer Teacher that shows up in so many forms — in all of life’s circumstances, the people and other life forms around and within my physical body and in my own Being.
As a lifelong learner and passionate creative, I am continuously investigating, experimenting and working to improve what I can bring to my clients that works to bring about real, meaningful change, so that our lives can become even more fulfilling and satisfying on all levels.
